Confusion. A word that basically describes me most of the time. For exaomple, right now I am sitting in class and I am confused on what to write about for my next paper. I am trying very hard to think of something really good to write about. At the moment I cannot really think of anything.
I am currenty sitting next to Jen and talking to her about boys and how they can be really confusing as well. I know that all you boys reading this are thinking that it's the other way around and that girls are confusing. I believe that both females and males can be confusing actually.

Here comes the snow!
Thanksgiving this year was lots of fun. I spent the whole day with my family and friends. It was a blast. I experienced my first ginger bread house decorating. It was loads of fun and messy at the same time. I had a great weekend as well. I spend the weekend with my sister and their boyfriends who were in town. It's always nice to see them.
I was pretty excited to wake up and see that there was snow on the ground. I really do love the snow. The only thing that I really don't care for is driving in the snow. It is always such a hassle. Especially when you live in the middle of nowhere like I do. The roads are rarely plowed by my house so that makes it difficult and plus I have to leave much earlier to go somewhere after it snows or when it is snowing. What a bummer. It just makes me mad!
I do like the snow sometimes because it can really be fun at times. I like going sledding with my friends and making snow angels. The down side of that is the snow usually attracts to my body and then my clothes are wet and I get really cold. I guess that's just the price you pay when you do outside fun activities in the winter time though.

Favorite Time of Year!
This is my favorite time of year. Right after Halloween and fall almost over is the best time of year for me. Besides the snow and teh cold weather though. I could do without that. I love this time of year so much because of the holidays. Thanksgiving is coming up and all my family will be in town and get together. I really don't like the whole Thanksgiving meal though. I am actually a pretty picky eater. After Thanksgiving is over then comes Christmas. I love going out shopping for presents for others. It is so much fun. And then having to wrap the presents in all is also a fun task. After Christmas is over, then comes New Years Eve. A great holiday that I enjoy celebrating. Shorty after comes January 5th. Many of you readers are most likely asking yourselves, "What's so speacial about that day?" Well, January 5th is my brithday of course! That is a day that everyone can say they enjoy celebrating. Although, this year I will not be able to celebrate on the day of my birthday. I will actually be out of town 4 hours away for a basketball game. I am sure that I will still have funa nd enjoy myself, but I would much rather spend my birthday with my family and close friends.

Halloween Weekend.
Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. It is the one day a year where I can dress up and be whomever I choose. This Halloween I worked at Features. I dressed up like a devil and my sister was bartending and she was an angel. Many people said that we should of switched costumes, but I liked me costume. It was a late night for me Friday night working. Although, I did make $100 waitressing. Then came along Saturday. My mom came in my room around 9:30 and made me try on a costume. She had made me a Wilma Flinstone costume for work Saturday night. At features on Saturday night we had a Halloween costume party along with our managers birthday party. There was a dj there and lots and lots of people. It was so busy that I could barely move throughout the bar area. I ended up working until 1 am. That isn't too bad considering my sister was there until 3:45 am. Sunday came and went pretty fast. I spent most of my day sleeping, working on my Nobel Laureate paper, and hanging with my family and boyfriend. It was a long weekend, but a fun one at that. I am just glad that I don't work for a couple weeks because now I can concentrate on school and basketball. :)

Family Fun.
As I mentioned in my last post, I was going on a little family vaction over the weekend to the Milwaulkee area. It actually was pretty fun. On Friday I hung out with my boyfriend and we went out to dinner at Red Lobster. After that I stayed out pretty late adn didn't get much for sleep. I was pretty tired Saturday morning. My mom came into my room at 7 am to wake me up. I was really tired and I had to drag myself into the bathroom to get ready and such. The drive was not so much fun however. I sat in the backseat of my moms jetta. It was hard to try adn take a nap. Especially when the sun is right in your face. It was about a 3 1/2 hour drive. Once we got there we meet up with my sister and her boyfriend. We then decided to tour the Sprecher factory. It was a lot of fun adn very interesting at that. If you were over 21 you got 4 free tickets to test taste all the differet type of beer they make. If your under 21 you got to test taste all the different types of soda you wanted. Needless to say when I left I had a stomach ache from all the soda. We all then decided to go hang out for a while and then go out to eat to a nice and fancy restaurant. The food was amazing. We then managed to go back to my sisters appartment and play catch phrase. That's always an adventure with my family. I was beaten and fell asleep after that. Sunday morning came and we were headed off for home. It was a fun adn enjoyable weekend, but I was so tired and slept a lot Sunday during the day.

This Week.
This week has been a long one. On Saturday I went to a wedding with my boyfriend and his family. I was a lot of fun and a long day and night. There was a lot of drinking as well as a lot of dancing going on. It was a lot of fun. We got home really late. That's why I slept almost all day Sunday. It felt good to catch up on all the sleep I missed.
Tuesday came and went pretty fast. It was yet another long day for me. I started off with some school. After that I went to basketball practice. I then came home to visit with my family for a while. That really didn't last too long though. I then went on to a sleepover with the basketball team girls. That was a very fun night. We stayed up late and played card games, ate a lot of food and watched tv. It was nice not having school on Wednesday because I then went home to sleep for a few hours.
This weekend is almost here and I am not too excited about it. I have plans for this weekend and they were pretty important to me. My dad came to tell me the other day that I would have to go out of town this weekend. I was instantly bummed out. He told me that our family was going to be going to Racine to visit my sister. I was pretty upset because I had to cancel my plans with my friends. Hopefully my family will come up with something fun to do in Racine this weekend so the trip isn't as boring as I expect it to be.

Harold and Kumar.
Sunday night I went and hung out with my boyfriend. We were really bored and decided to go rent a movie. I really wanted to rent a scary movie because I haven't seen a horror movie in a while. He insisted that we rent Harold and Kumar Escape from Guatanama Bay. I am very glad that we rented that movie. I have seen the first movie Harold and Kumar go to White Castle and I loved it. I think i enjoyed the second one more than the first. This movie however is rated R and it should be. It is a really funny movie, don't get me wrong but the movies contains sex, drugs and violence. I think that's why so many teenagers really enjoy this movie. Many of them can probably relate to some of the movie. Both of the Harold and Kumar movies really have lots of humor. That's why I enjoy these movies so much. I am a very big fan of laughter. I like how all the characters from the first movie are the exact same as in the second movie. I really dislike how the characters change from one movie to the next. I always find myself getting confused and mixing characters up then. That can make me kind of angry sometimes. I know that once this movie comes out it will be another addition to my movie collection. I am hoping that in these next couple years the director of this movie comes out with a third movie. That would be awesome.

I hate saying goodbye.
These past few days have not been pleasant. As I said in my last entry, our family dog was not doing so well. Last night Sherman (our dog) starting getting really sick and throwing up. I felt so bad for her. This morning I woke up around 6:40 to my dad laying down in bed next to me. He told me I should go downstairs with him and my mom. I walked down the stairs and saw Sherman laying on the couch sick as ever. She had gotten so sick that I couldn't even look at her without crying. She had lost so much weight that I could see her ribs and her backbone sticking out. Her eyes were glossy and unbearable. I watched her lay on the couch next to my mom. She looked so sad and I could tell she was suffering. My family and I had decided that it was her time to go. None of us could watch her suffer any longer. That's why we chose to put her down this morning at 8. It was so insanely hard to let her go. I layed on the couch with her this morning for about a half hour. I had a really hard time letting her go. I think the hardest thing to do is say goodbye. I got up off the couch and starting walking away. I just couldn't even look at her anymore. I looked back at her about 10 times before I finally left. It has been a really hard thing for me to do, but I know that she is in a better place now and she's not suffering anymore. It's amazing how much a family can become attached to such an animal. I have had some great times and memories with her. I know that sometime in the near future our family will get another dog. Until that day I will always remember Sherman as the best dog our family had. I sure am going to miss her so much. RIP Sherman 7/05/98- 10/09/08

Shermy Wormy.
My family is very much like other families in the US. We live in an average, middle class house, own a dog and pay the bills. Our family dog is an austrailian border collie. She is ten years old and her name is Sherman. I know that she's a girl, but my dad insisted that we call her Sherman. My sister and I have about ten nicknames for her though; Shermy, Shermy wormy, Snoop a loop, Snoppy and so on. This past week she has been very sick. She refuses to eat and has a hard time controlling her bladder. My dad finally took her to the vet and she stayed a few nights. We came to find out that she had a really bad kidney infection and the vet informed us that she may not live through this. Right away I was upset because I grew up with this dog. I played frizbee with her in the front yard all the time and she hogs the bed when she sleeps with me at night. On Saturday we picked her up from the vet and took her home. The vet said that she is doing better, but this will indeed affect her life. She will not live as long and will not be as active and energentic as she usually is. My family and I were extremely happy to have her home. On the down side though, we could all still tell that she was still sick. She spends most of her time laying downstairs by herself. She takes medicine twice daily and doesn't eat much. She's a tough dog though and I know she'll be just fine!

Nineteen Minutes
I've recently been reading a book called "Nineteen Minutes." This book has really showed me how much teasing someone can really affect someone's life. Without giving away the ending, this book is how teasing someone was pushed to the extreme and many were killed. A boy was teased so much at school for years upon years. This boy never stood up for himself not once. Right in the beginning we come to find that this boy is fed up with everything and he brings a gun to school. Like I said before I'm not going to give too much information out just so I do not ruin it for everyone.
This book really showed me how teasing can really hurt someone. This boy didn't even want to go to school because of all this teasing. It helped me look back into my high school days and realize all the kids who got teased, and I never once said anything to anyone. I usually just ignored it or and sometimes I even laughed. I feel bad right now just thinking about it. I really recommend this book to anyone. It is a great book and really shows a lot of life lessons throughout it as well.

My Family and Life.
I though that I would write about my family since not a lot of people really know me very well. I am the youngest of three girls. My oldest sister is Steph and she's 24 She gratuated from Oshkosh and is now teaching 8th grade math at Racine Middle School. My middle sister is Kim. She is 22 and goes to Winona State. Her expected graduation date is fall of 2009. I am 18 and am still living at home. I am playing basketball for TC. In high school I played volleyball, basketball and softball. My dad owns his own lawn care business named Galstads Turf Care. In the spring, summer and fall he works almost everyday of the week and long hours. In the winter time he spends a lot of time cleaning our house and ice fishing. My mom works at Airmark. She really does not care for her job too much, but she does not complain that much.
We have a family dog named Sherman. Sherman is a girl name and she's an austrailian border collie. My sister has a 8 month old kitten named Khloe. She's white with a little bit of brown. Khole lives at home with us. I have a 4 year old kat named Nala. She sleeps with me every night no matter where I sleep in my house. She's adorable and I love her so much!
I live way out in the country in Holmen. I've lived in Holmen since I was one. Before then my family and I lived in LaCrosse on Green Bay St. My room is my favorite part of our house. It's full of multiple colors and my bed is amazing. It is a queen sized bed and filled with 2 body pillows, 4 normal sized pillows, 1 blanket, 2 down comforters, my baby blanket and a few stuffed animals. Oh, and I cannot forget about my cat and dog that sleep with me as well.
My family has a pool in our backyard. That is where I spend most of my time when I am not working in the summer time. It is very relaxing to lay out in my backyard on the hammock on summer nights and look at the stars. That is one of my favorite things to do in the summer time. Just lay back and relax and take in the summer breeze.

Mad Money
I recently just watched a movie that made me want to rob a bank. Well, not really, I don't have the guts to do that. The movie I'm talking about is Mad Money. This movie stars Diane Keaton, Queen Latifah and Katie Holmes. These three ladies all work for a secure bank in America. They come up with a brilliant plan to smuggle out millions of dollars in worn-out currency that heads to the Federal Reserve shredder everyday. This movie is packed full of comedy and action.
My favorite scene in this movie is when they almost get caught smuggling money. They make the scene really funny and enjoyable. However, they make it through their conflict without getting caught. When doing so they stir up a little trouble and a big problem which causes their plan to move south. After a little negotiation they made a requite into their scam making scheme.
I really enjoyed this movie because it really emphasizes how money cannot buy happiness. That statement proves to be true in this film. These ladies steal all this money and start spending it and they all think that they are happy. After a while it starts showing that these ladies are not happy. They just keep wanting more and more money to make them happy. They say that their not happy until they get it all. Now that just turns into pure greed. Greed can really take over a persons life. It really shows in this movie. These three ladies start spending money like crazy and sooner or later that starts to show which causes a lot of suspicion upon their part.
I just don't understand how someone could be so greedy. I'm not saying that I don't like money, because I do. What I'm saying is being so greedy to the point where all you care about is money and yourself. Now that's being greedy. That's how the title of this movie got its name, Mad Money.

An Old Friend Has Recently Appeared.
Last night started out like any other night. I was talking to mom while I was on facebook as well. A friend request popped up and right away I knew exactly who it was from. He was my best friend and neighbor from when I was ten years old. I was so excited to hear from him. Without even thinking I accepted his friend request and began talking right away. We talked for two yours last night about everything. We talked about life, schooling, family and all of our childhood memories. We both were so excited to hear from each other that my hands were shaking. Ryan and I grew up together and saw each other almost every day. We rode the bus together, had class together and played all the time. Growing up with Ryan made life so much fun, but there was something that was not right growing up with him. Ryan’s mom had leukemia. When we were 12 she passed. It was a very hard for Ryan’s dad. Ryan also had a younger sister Holly who I fell in love with. She was like my little sister. I would always do her hair and we would play together all the time. Shortly after Ryan’s mom had passed, their family moved away to be with other relatives and so Ryan and Holly would have more of a mother like figure around. I was devastated. That was the second good friend that I had move away from me. It was hard for me and for Ryan and Holly as well, but I had to move on with life. I had not heard from either of them until last night. I’m so excited to hear that everyone is doing great. Ryan and I are planning a get together sometime soon so we catch up over all these year. I cannot wait until that day. I feel as if I have gained something back in my life. Life just can’t get any better than this right now!

A very long day.
Today I spent my time with my sister. I woke up around 9am and went out to breakfast with my sister Kim and her boyfriend. After that we decided to go to the mall all day long. And let me tell you, my sister loves to shop! It was a long day of shopping. We started to get really hungry so we came home. Thank god!
Today was just one of those days. One of those days when it is just so crapy out that you want to spend the whole day in from of the tv with lots of blankets. I would of loved to do that today. Does anyone else just love days like that? Instead of doing that all night long, I went to work. Ugh.
I got done with work early so I went to Winona to visit my best friends. It was so much fun! I just got home and now I am very tired. I am going to go to bed very soon and get a good night sleep. I'm so excited!

WHOA! My first blog is about relationships.
I am going to write about relationships, because most 18 and 19 year-olds have been in some type of relationship throughout their lives. I have been in a number of relationships throughout high school. Only one has really affected my life though. It was love at first sight. I dated this boy who was younger than me, but I did not mind at all. He was a sophomore and I was a junior. We dated for a year and a half until I found out from my friends that he cheated on me. I did not believe it at first. I just did not want to. I could not believe that he would do something like to me. It turns out it was true. We broke up right away. After that I had never been so sad and lonely for that long. Over a few months of time he tried so extremely hard to win me back. I tried to stay strong even though it was difficult. We started talking again and are now friends. Someday we may become more. I just find it hard to trust people now.
