Family Fun.

As I mentioned in my last post, I was going on a little family vaction over the weekend to the Milwaulkee area. It actually was pretty fun. On Friday I hung out with my boyfriend and we went out to dinner at Red Lobster. After that I stayed out pretty late adn didn't get much for sleep. I was pretty tired Saturday morning. My mom came into my room at 7 am to wake me up. I was really tired and I had to drag myself into the bathroom to get ready and such. The drive was not so much fun however. I sat in the backseat of my moms jetta. It was hard to try adn take a nap. Especially when the sun is right in your face. It was about a 3 1/2 hour drive. Once we got there we meet up with my sister and her boyfriend. We then decided to tour the Sprecher factory. It was a lot of fun adn very interesting at that. If you were over 21 you got 4 free tickets to test taste all the differet type of beer they make. If your under 21 you got to test taste all the different types of soda you wanted. Needless to say when I left I had a stomach ache from all the soda. We all then decided to go hang out for a while and then go out to eat to a nice and fancy restaurant. The food was amazing. We then managed to go back to my sisters appartment and play catch phrase. That's always an adventure with my family. I was beaten and fell asleep after that. Sunday morning came and we were headed off for home. It was a fun adn enjoyable weekend, but I was so tired and slept a lot Sunday during the day.

This Week.

This week has been a long one. On Saturday I went to a wedding with my boyfriend and his family. I was a lot of fun and a long day and night. There was a lot of drinking as well as a lot of dancing going on. It was a lot of fun. We got home really late. That's why I slept almost all day Sunday. It felt good to catch up on all the sleep I missed.

Tuesday came and went pretty fast. It was yet another long day for me. I started off with some school. After that I went to basketball practice. I then came home to visit with my family for a while. That really didn't last too long though. I then went on to a sleepover with the basketball team girls. That was a very fun night. We stayed up late and played card games, ate a lot of food and watched tv. It was nice not having school on Wednesday because I then went home to sleep for a few hours.

This weekend is almost here and I am not too excited about it. I have plans for this weekend and they were pretty important to me. My dad came to tell me the other day that I would have to go out of town this weekend. I was instantly bummed out. He told me that our family was going to be going to Racine to visit my sister. I was pretty upset because I had to cancel my plans with my friends. Hopefully my family will come up with something fun to do in Racine this weekend so the trip isn't as boring as I expect it to be.

Harold and Kumar.

Sunday night I went and hung out with my boyfriend. We were really bored and decided to go rent a movie. I really wanted to rent a scary movie because I haven't seen a horror movie in a while. He insisted that we rent Harold and Kumar Escape from Guatanama Bay. I am very glad that we rented that movie. I have seen the first movie Harold and Kumar go to White Castle and I loved it. I think i enjoyed the second one more than the first. This movie however is rated R and it should be. It is a really funny movie, don't get me wrong but the movies contains sex, drugs and violence. I think that's why so many teenagers really enjoy this movie. Many of them can probably relate to some of the movie. Both of the Harold and Kumar movies really have lots of humor. That's why I enjoy these movies so much. I am a very big fan of laughter. I like how all the characters from the first movie are the exact same as in the second movie. I really dislike how the characters change from one movie to the next. I always find myself getting confused and mixing characters up then. That can make me kind of angry sometimes. I know that once this movie comes out it will be another addition to my movie collection. I am hoping that in these next couple years the director of this movie comes out with a third movie. That would be awesome.

I hate saying goodbye.

These past few days have not been pleasant. As I said in my last entry, our family dog was not doing so well. Last night Sherman (our dog) starting getting really sick and throwing up. I felt so bad for her. This morning I woke up around 6:40 to my dad laying down in bed next to me. He told me I should go downstairs with him and my mom. I walked down the stairs and saw Sherman laying on the couch sick as ever. She had gotten so sick that I couldn't even look at her without crying. She had lost so much weight that I could see her ribs and her backbone sticking out. Her eyes were glossy and unbearable. I watched her lay on the couch next to my mom. She looked so sad and I could tell she was suffering. My family and I had decided that it was her time to go. None of us could watch her suffer any longer. That's why we chose to put her down this morning at 8. It was so insanely hard to let her go. I layed on the couch with her this morning for about a half hour. I had a really hard time letting her go. I think the hardest thing to do is say goodbye. I got up off the couch and starting walking away. I just couldn't even look at her anymore. I looked back at her about 10 times before I finally left. It has been a really hard thing for me to do, but I know that she is in a better place now and she's not suffering anymore. It's amazing how much a family can become attached to such an animal. I have had some great times and memories with her. I know that sometime in the near future our family will get another dog. Until that day I will always remember Sherman as the best dog our family had. I sure am going to miss her so much.  RIP Sherman 7/05/98- 10/09/08
